The food came out relatively quickly for New Years Eve. Within 10 mins of ordering
Food was truely awful. Our concerns were brought to the attention of staff, whom asked if we were local, we replied no we are on holidays. No follow up. Highly processed, Undercooked, small portions. I paid $42 for my meal! Would of been better off going to Macca's😞
I experienced a very positive night at the Tavern. My meal, Thai Beef Salad, was tasty, well presented and appropriately priced. I enjoyed eating in the undercovered outside eating area rather than the busy inside. The inside area was conducting a trivia when I walked through to leave.
Food was quite meh. Lots of grissel on the steak and quite chewey. However service was fantastic especially by the assistant venue manager who gave us all a great laugh. Also everything was expensive af
Nice looking place with some exceptionally rude staff, who did not care to listen to our questions and just walked off in a huff halfway through explaining what we needed.
Some of the food was nice and some was pretty sub par for what was paid.
We're here on holiday, came the first night the food ok, over priced but good, not a lot of people.
Came back for lunch a Saturday, 50 patrons, ordered fish, was disgustingly oily, had to use a napkin to soak some of the oily up out of the fish. Mentioned the oil to a female staff person who couldn't care less, however a male staff person was concerned but no further comment from them.
Went here a month ago was bit expensive but very nice, good size meals, had really picked there act up compared to what it used to be. Went back last night .food had no flavour, very small servings, same price, very disappointed
We were lucky enough to have our Christmas lunch here and I can't speak highly enough of the service, food and overall atmosphere. I'd recommend this establishment to all.
